CEN Workshop Business Plan to be held in Brussels 2012“Car-Adaptations for Drivers and Passengers of Motor Vehicles”
The Achilles hoist with telescopic arm from B&S Caradapation Holland is now available in two different versions, a short and a long version.
This will give you more flexibility to use this lift either in bigger and smaller cars. The short version has an electrical extension of 14 cm, with a throat depth from 52 to 66 cm. The long vesion is still the one we allready have in our program and has an electrical extension of 19 cm, with a throat depth from 62 to 81 cm. The Hermes Roof hoist from B&S Caradapation Holland is a new smart universal hoist to be build inside the car on the roof, to load a wheelchair.
The hoist is completely electrical (in/out - up/down) and it has a capacity of 35 kg. The Hermes is developed to be used in cars like for example the Renault Kangoo and Volkswagen Caddy with an sliding door on the leftside/driversside.Autoadapt AB and FEAL AB – are initiating global collaboration.
As of 1 September 2012, Autoadapt is marketing and distributing FEAL`s portable and vehicle-mounted wheelchair ramps.FEAL and Autoadapt are Swedish manufacturers in the sector for aids for the disabled, with all development, planning and manufacturing on their own premises in Horndal and Stenkullen, respectively.
