Unwin Safety Systems announced a major advance in safe travel for wheelchair users with the launch of the Unwin Plus range, the ‘next generation` of wheelchair restraint systems which is 41% stronger than the current ISO 10542 regulations require.

The Unwin Plus range reflects the increasing weight of wheelchairs and the increasing proportion of electric scooter and powered wheelchairs on the market.
In response and in the interests of safety, Unwin has upgraded its wheelchair restraints to sustain a wheelchair weight of up to 120kg. This Unwin is able to do without any increase in price.
