Autoadapt take part in the Swedish exhibition in Belgrade
Autoadapt is one of the sponsors and take a major part in a big Swedish exhibition presenting technical aids for persons with a handicap.

”I mi smo tu” - in English "We are also here" - is an exhibition on assistive technology for children and adults with disabilities.

The Swedish Institute of Assistive Technology, the Swedish Institute, the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Swedish Trade Council are organizing the Swedish exhibition under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with Sava Centar and Ericsson-Belgrade.

The main objectives of this exhibition are primarily to inform the general public about the specific needs of people with disabilities and to increase their inclusion in society. Special attention is directed towards children. By safeguarding the accessibility of technical aids and habilitation, the hope is that their possibilities to function more independently through life will be enhanced.

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden opens the exhibition, consisting of over 200 technical aids from some 50 Swedish companies.

This exhibition consists of products, equipment, toys, furniture etc, all designed to meet the specific demands of people with disabilities, particularly children. In other words, these items represent realistic technical opportunities that are available to every person.

“I mi smo tu” is in fact a trade fair including Swedish inventions and products, acting under the umbrella of the Swedish Assistive Technology Institute, which is also the owner of this exhibition. All objects can be tried out by the visitors and can also be ordered.

Examples of Swedish Autoadapt products displayed are Carony Kids, a unique, easily operated and dockable transport wheelchair that is combined with a car seat lift. A couple of simple manual operations move the chair and the child from the wheel unit to the passenger seat, with the wheel unit being stored in the load compartment when not in use.
