The ring is placed on the original steering wheel. To accelerate, it`s enough to press down the ring towards the steering wheel.

The new feature of this handcontrol is that the ring can easily be removed from the steering wheel!

In this way the driver has more space on the steering wheel when he needs, for example, to handle a folded wheelchair.

This feature also avoids obstructing drivers who will not be using the hand-control.

The quick release on the steering wheel has been designed to allow the ring to be fitted and taken away without being damaged.

All the car specifics stay as original and are as safe as the manufacturer requires.

Moreover, the KO offers the possibility, by pressing one button on the brake lever, to use the "power saved acceleration mode" : this means that the driver can use only a part of the engine power, without reducing the stroke of the accelerator ring, making it easier when parking or in situation of heavy traffic.

The device is provided with a safety system that makes the acceleration return automatically at idle when the brake is applied. This system doesn`t work when the car is stopped and the driver wants to start the car, making it easier to start on a hill or on an incline, because it allows you to release the brake gradually when accelerating”
